For U.S. sellers without a Store, eBay charges a final value fee based on the total amount of the sale plus a per-order fee. For most categories, the rate is 13.6% up to $7,500 and 2.35% on the portion above $7,500.

The per-order fee is $0.30 for orders of $10 or less and $0.40 for orders over $10. The fee base includes the item price, shipping charged, sales tax, and other applicable amounts.

What is included in the total sale amount?

eBay calculates the final value fee using the item price, shipping and handling collected from the buyer, sales tax, and certain other applicable amounts. Sales tax increases the fee base but is excluded from this calculator's payout because eBay collects and remits it.

  • It supports several common non-Store category schedules and a custom flat rate; excluded subcategories can differ.
  • Vehicles, real estate, classified ads, NFTs, bullion, handbags, jewelry, watches, and athletic shoes can use special fee rules not modeled here.
  • Store subscriptions, promoted listing calculations, refunds, disputes, seller-performance surcharges, and currency conversion are not automatically included.
  • Use the manual fee fields for known listing upgrades or other charges, and verify your actual Seller Hub statement.
